Safety With every trip (HAVA SOS)

Safety, security and comfort is particularly important in transportation and at HAVA, our goal is to ensure that each and every one of our rides is safe and comfortable from start to finish. So, we invest in safety innovation and build in-app safety features.

We understand that in an emergency, time is of essence. Which is why we have an emergency assist button (SOS) on our app, allowing you to initiate real-time safety emergency alerts to first responders in the rare event of an emergency within a trip.

This safety button, which sends an alert to our system that is monitored 24/7 by our team of qualified and dedicated customer Service Executives that are always ready to respond and tend to our clients’. In the rare event of a real safety threat, they immediately inform our security partners and the relevant authorities who work together to neutralize the situation. The SOS button is located top right of the screen and easily accessible from the app’s trip screen.

How to use the SOS button 

You can access emergency assistance (SOS) through the following steps:

  1. While on a trip (this is from driver accepted to trip completed), click the blue shield icon on top right of the map.
  2. One of our customer care representatives will call you.

Kindly make sure that your location settings are switched on and that your phone number matches the number in the app so that we are able to track you and the driver.

Your safety is our highest priority. We will always work tirelessly toward finding effective ways to ensure that you are safe and supported at all times.
